Just For a Moment

Everyone's so busy
dropped in the running position
rushing here, there and everywhere
doing this or that.

It's quite amazing, awing
impressing, inspiring
green with envy, a bit,
I can no longer keep up like that.
Flip-side
catching what might be missed.

Time is our most precious resource;
at the same time a factor that rushes us
even when in the company of dear ones.

Maybe I'm eight in my thinking
it's just so securing and comforting
slowing your roll
just enjoying
moment to moment
where
whom you're with.
No other matters or cares
second handing in your head.

Juggling things around
squeezing in silence and space from it all
still rushing it.

When you got the time
ticking....

ticking in your head.
