God's Novel

I really dig this title:


1.  God's Novel;  God's book; illustrations; how God reads to me; how God teaches me to read, etc.


2.  God's Novel:  God IS novel.



Often I wait to hear the story before I post here on this blog.  I always when I hear the story or feel it enough to sit down at the keyboard and wait until it just flows have an image or images of what God has shown me pop into my head.  Usually, it is already in the physical memory; Micro SD cards, Flash Drives and/or internal memory, oh and the "clouds" of many!  Sometimes it is just a matter of a day or two and there it is--God's accompanying picture!!

My Instagram account is full of God's sense of humor and our shared goofy, dorky, nonsense and our way of interacting in day to day life.  

Not many folks I know have an IG (Instagram) account or a Google+ (which I don't really use either, except for the auto-sharing of this blogspot content), everyone has Facebook.  I feel nothing but angst when I view my Facebook feed lately; what can I do about that and still share the wonderful reality God shows me?

here today, gone tomorrow,
nothing in life or in death

questioning logic
sound in belief

finding myself
caught in-between

a word or a phrase
naught be found
over and over again
hushed, as if,
forefinger to my lips

Bittersweet

heart beating rhythmically
double time, warmth consuming
over and over again
all thy burdens
cast upon Him...

Lacking Fancy

For all I craved, even unbeknownst

you, Lord, have fulfilled and continue to pour over me more than I deserve

gratefully and thankfully and humbly I receive joyfully

You, indeed, hear all spoken and unspoken;


Read my heart always and keep me from selfish ways...

I want nothing more than to live in You

and You in me, always!


Welcoming Your will on earth as it is in heaven

always and everlasting...


Keep watch as I sleep tight

over not only myself but those I love

and those whom are lost...

Thanksgiving

As Thanksgiving approaches, I often find myself in a more contemplative state of mindfulness.  

Much of my own Thanksgiving is the shared by others; blessings, changes, grateful fors, new founds, etc. of which they celebrate and embrace.  It is most refreshing to see and hear others testimonials as well as accomplishments.  In addition to how others live Thanksgiving.  

I continue to look forward to all of yours in addition to those whose paths cross mine day to day...

I am Thankful.

The philosophical Tyger LOL

We all have "stuff" sometimes "tough stuff" enter our lives.

I find when I draw my attention to all else in my life and jaw not about the "tough stuff" & focus on the here and now, wherever I may be that is literally here and now...I'm in peace. I feel God along side in everything, allowing me to stay 'out of the way' as the good blessings unravel the "tough" the way only Christ can...

THE moment I am in is THE moment I am supposed to be in--over and over and over. Stay present. Stay open. Stay aware of blessings when trials arise...
Stay above yet not oblivious!

Twenty Fourteen

I don't do resolutions.
I don't do making New Year plans.
Though, I'm pretty routine
not a fan of flying by the seat of my pants.

I do however, set a tone,
put a vibe unto the universe, if you will,
for a lack of a better term.
Gladly knowing;

My life is in God's hands.
I follow where Christ leads.
I welcome all the ways in which the Holy Spirit is moving
and will continue to move
in and among me.
Knowing where I am taken is what is meant to be.

Life's Too Short

Individuality showcased, each twinkling flake of snow
as street lights, night sky, heighten the snow globe effect
amongst the not so long ago
trees engulfed by a multitude of fiery red orange colors
now barren, covered, glistening
angelically
as you stand taking it all in.

Magical delight, as if seeing for the first time
picturesque postcard views
with every blink of the eye
so much so, taking your breath away--
repeatedly.

Effortlessly, peacefully, gracefully,
changing directions
branches keeping time you are lost in...

Forever Is Good Reason

Ever changing, constantly in motion
grand scheme of things
unknown to us human beings.

Everything for a reason
   certain people
   certain places
   certain times -

Missed opportunities?
Missed chances?
Doors close so others may open?

Divine intervention

Revolutionary uncertainty
leap of faith, untethered
trusting God has got you...

A whole new world revealed
unconditional love, happiness and purpose
forever entrusted with you...
